CoC holds a special place in my heart just because it was my first event. Visiting random towns was super fun, too.
Visiting random towns was the outstanding feature of Clash of Clones as far as I'm concerned. I'd love for them to introduce that as a regular ability. Maybe you could have 5 or 10 random neighbour slots. Failing that, I hope they at least bring it back for another event.neuroheart wrote:

I can't vote to decide Best ever because I didn't play them all. =(
Nonsense. Most of us haven't played them all.
(It's actually quite interesting to me how many people have voted for an event being best simply because it was the first one they played.)
Agree, but it holds such a special spot to me. It was the first time I got so many premium items and also items that later became premium. It was the beginning to my town having such content it does.- Halloween 2012 was my first event and my favorite with Stonecutters coming in a close second.
I loved everything about that event. I loved the prizes, loved the format and it was the event that hooked me on TSTO for good!
I know most folks were not able to be around for various reasons, so the votes will probably be pretty low for that event :-) - Halloween 2013 was pretty good. I enjoyed that one. Stonecutters and CoC was good too in my opinion.

We both started around the same time and you were the first person from the forums to become a neighbor. I remember how much you loved Stonecutters - which would easily be my other choice. :D- Halloween 2012 was my first event. And the best one. :)
Christmas 2012 was also a very nice event. And the stonecutters. lauriegator wrote:

Same for me. Halloween 2012 was unexpected and most of all fun. The joy always felt a bit zapped out of the later events. But hey, I figure updates are always good.
Stonecutters captured some of that earlier magic and I really enjoyed it.- I started playing while Halloween 2013 was in full swing, so I would consider Christmas my first event... (well, first full event)... but Stonecutters has been my absolute favorite for all the reasons mentioned by others. But Halloween 13 & Christmas 13 round out my top 3.
- Wacking Day is a sentimental favourite as it was my first but I had to choose Halloween 2013. And specifically the early glitch. At the time you could tap 5 ghosts in neighbours towns, but the last ghost had a glitch where if you were quick you could tap more ghosts before it registered. Hours of fun trying to see how many ghosts you could get (a few times I got 9 in total!)
This was before EA seemed to have a fit over people racking up huge numbers of whatever the event currency was and it was fun to see how much I could get before the event finished. Now EA seem to hate people being able to finish an event too early. Ataccounting wrote:

I finished Xmas with a week or so to spare.
