Best lull ever

I'm guessing the downtime is coming to an end soon. The Pin Pals mini event end date takes us past the Simpsons season finale on Sunday so it doesn't seem like there will be a tie-in. That being the case, I think this Tuesday (when Pin Pals ends) we may end up getting our next big event. Unless, that is, we get another mini event.

Has Tapped Out ever done back-to-back mini events before? I haven't been playing long enough to know.

Maybe we'll get a tie in for the next event kinda like the world event stuff where we got a few items before that one stated. But kinda disappointed that we didn't get anything towards the season finale.

My version is the need for more crafting currency. I can get donuts from farming, but I can't get one more mailbox without continuing through the downtime.

It's been nice to actually have a couple of days where I've just set everyone on 24hr tasks and gone back the next day to reset them on 24hr ones again, actually had time to start thinking about my town, move things around slightly, introduce another river which I was thinking about, the plan for my airport has gone completely awry and it now sits dumped somewhere with Norbert next to it and a small attempt at something with the ancillaries that came with it...gonna tinker a bit more next couple of days, see what's what

Was glad to have the "lull" and loved the relaxed pace of pin pals but now I'm ready for some action. But.... I really hope there is something different in the next event. You know, not just the same old event formula.
I can already hear the complaints; "I'm not get enough X to craft everything" followed by "I have too much X, what should I craft"

I took a well deserved break all together. Checked once a day to set tasks.
Started hard push for 20 days, on 1May, KEM farming 45 at a time, went from 177 to 462 :). Then on the 21st day I rested.
Actually first time I've taken more then a 2 day break since I began during the campfire kids THOH. (Just before)

Definitely deserved a break

I've enjoyed the break from events but I've been grinding away at the KEM farm.

It's been nice to be relaxed whilst playing, not worrying about having to check in, unusually for me I haven't even done neighbour visits every day, that 2,200 IGC and chance of doughnuts is usually enough motivation for me..

Knowing when the next event is due to come has been a help as well, I scheduled myself a three day collider session which ended this morning, over 130 levels up and along with everything else it got me a gain of 142D for the 14m IGC I burned through, a nice boost..

Got a couple of days left to try and build up cash again and continue with some little bits of redesign I've been doing and tinker with a few ideas i'm playing with.. The airport frustrates me... I'm so close to putting it into storage, but trying to hide Norbert's plane would be a challenge... :confused:

Wanted to stock up my SH buildings, but cash was king while the collider was on and now I've actually got over the $1bn REV, the motivation has gone..

Anyway, the teaser has whet my appetite for the next event and I'm almost ready to go...
