How bored are you with the lull in the event?

I'm doing pretty good with it. I've built around a dozen levels worth of story buildings while the event has been going and I'm curious how close to caught up with released buildings/characters I can get by time the event is finished.

My priority right now is finishing the Evil Shopkeeper tasks for 20 free donuts, THEN constant recycling for 16 monorail tracks and 5 free donuts every week, THEN grinding zombies for wailing walls increasing my bonus and bramble bushes to build my giant hedge maze; THEN completing the THOH cumulative gummy prize because i haven't obtained TentaCorp yet.

So NO, I DON'T need more content at the moment and I'm not bored at all. Also, I'm 6th on my leaderboard for sharing purple blobs! And I've got some serious neighbors! (Looking at you, Colombo, Brett, & Neuro! How about sleeping occasionally?!? :P )

IF i actually ever get a lull from giving out blobs, I'm designing stuff in town, because all this new stuff is fun to integrate in my SF. And THEN I'm taking pics and posting in the Showcase section. So there's that too. This event is just busy enough without being a chore. Love it!

Sorry, you don't have a clue about me or my town. I already have Tenta-Corp, so I have 6 days until there's new prizes. I have more than enough hedges, etc and the Daily Challenges barely require any work. Bored, bored, bored.

I get the strong impression you don't like the complaint threads :). You have to admit they have decreased a fair bit this year and the game has improved. EA has even taken a lot of feedback from this forum.

While they are technically complaints, the tone has changed as well, a lot of what I'm reading is quite constructive and I hope the feedback is taken.

The consensus from the general comments made in these thread seems to be:
- game play and pace of event are right with this event
- what's lacking is new content to craft, new content to buy, new characters and quality of prizes

My impression that people who are bored just want something related to the event to work towards that's new. Easily solved by changing the balance of returning vs new content in the next event.

If you think there's a lull in complaints, I'm glad you noticed. But it's bittersweet after coming from a wave of premature whining at event release. This is one of the most accommodating events ever, yet the complainers always find some hair to split or nit to pick. It's nauseating how some are never pleased with anything but perfection - that simply can't be obtained.

But boredom cries often come from those who can't find some way to entertain THEMSELVES, and must have someone ELSE constantly appeasing them with a shiny new thing. Always someone else's job to make them happy. Just, ew. Particularly when we are mid event.

Not saying that's anyone HERE. Because I'm all clueless n' stuff. But I'm glad YOU get me!
