Billionaire Haven

Sorry for dumb questions all the time but I have my Billionaire Haven and am wondering if I should keep collecting real estate points? I see where some players are well over 1 Billion but mine is staying at the same amount even though I keep upgrading my buildings. I also wonder if anyone knows how to get my tapping back down to individual taps instead of a large area? I am trying to see who is visiting me but it clears before I can see names and I don't always get a point for the people. Sometimes there are only one or two taps from one person but because of the wide tap area I could be missing it. I also have a few neighbours that only have one building that I can tap but go back later and a few others have opened up. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

    I almost jumped off my roof after the first billion. Then a few weeks after I finished they did that 4X weekend and my wife had to talk me down a second time. There is definitely no 2B in my future, although the beach hideaways did a nice chunk of the work already. Hmmmmm....

    @IckabodSchrek. For anyone in crawl Juliet was brilliant in adding 1 before her name for reasons like this.

    EDIT: also I reached 2 billion before the 8 hour tasks became available, it was a lot of work.

    1 billion was hard enough, can't imagine grinding out 2 billion, especially with all the buildings already bought.

    Visitor taps don't always show up. I play 3 games and don't always get my own taps (and I know I tapped 3 things).

    How visit taps work (while not in an event): Take a look at your town. The buildings you see with icons over them are the buildings your neighbors can tap. If you clear all the icons your neighbors won't have any buildings to tap. It works the same way in their towns. So if there's only one building they haven't cleared (or someone else hasn't tapped) then you have to wait until they clear the handshakes or the building regenerates the payout icon before you can tap it.

    That event and all of the tapping had many of my friends quit in fustration and disgust. One thing I did see that impressed me was at the local HS a kid had set up a unit that using a vision module and a computer interface would do the tapping for him.

    I've been at 2 billion for quite some time but I must admit to taking advantage of the glitch that allowed players to purchase more than 10 of each building thus making it somewhat easier, although I still had way to many hours of grinding away while watching TV in the evening to get there and in all honesty it's not something that I really enjoyed or want to repeat, especially for the absolutely hideous buildings that we got for Springfield Heights, in fact the only bit of Springfield Heights that does interest me is the land that hopefully one day will be available.
