Black Friday 2016: Deals

I see about 1000 donuts worth of items I want. It going to be a whole new Springfield after that weekend

I'm more cranky that EA are offering only 4 characters (from the 109 premiums they have!!), & 2 NPCs (from the 57 premiums). If I'm spending donuts, I wanna get some bang for my bucks, not just a deco. I'm sure others complaining have a similar sentiment. Even if I had the characters they offered, at least there'd be variety for people, not this deco-fest. :(

For some comparisons:
Black Friday 2014: 16 characters, 4 NPCs, 2 costumes
Black Friday 2015: 12 characters, 5 NPCs, 1 costume
Black Friday 2016: 4 characters, 2 NPCs, 2 costumes.

The previous Black Fridays may have had a better selection overall, but the donuts have never been more plentiful in this game, so it's hard to complain. There are still a lot of things I want to buy, and I'm just glad they're continuing this tradition.

Trivia: The first time I spent money on this silly game was on 11/29/14 when I bought 300 donuts. I really wanted Crazy Cat Lady at the reduced price and was a few donuts shy of it.

I wonder if there's anything in the 2016 Black Friday that will make newer players buy donuts for the first time.

Sorry so many are disappointed. Maybe after Christmas they'll do another one. I'm pretty happy with this list, there are lots of things I've wanted. Murderhorn and Burns Statue and maybe some other items now that they are discounted. I've always liked the tractor but it's too expensive. I have a growing farm, I think I need it.

thanks as usual, LP. Is there anywhere that we can see which ones are unique? there are things that I have already got but don't mind another if the price is right. I realised that they have changed the 'uniqueness' of some items in the latest patch to remove Halloween... many thanks in advance

But muh Black Friday..... It's like, give me a present every month of the year....and just one on Xmas, too? No, I still want my standard 12 presents for Xmas....and the other 11 throughout the year, too. :blush:

the thing to keep in mind is, there are items on sale right now with a rebate...like Buck McKoy

so i treate this as the same category as Black Friday :D
