same here... just landed the first bunch of bonus donuts earlier today. No chance at gathering another 4K in hats in under 2 days, so just going to let the MMs pile up until act 2 starts.

I got Patches and Violet Tuesday evening. I've yet to get my first bonus donuts.I'm finding that without the bonus hats from the Snowman and Gingerbread House, the hats don't accumulate all that quickly.

I think I'll get one round of bonuts, but that will be it, and it's going to be close.

I got Patches and Violet today and I don't think I'm going to get any bonuts this act. It might have been close had I held off on the last Gingerbread house upgrade and grinded to finishes patches and violet. I was about 1,200 away when I finished the house got the house bonus, the bonus for finish the quest but none of that counted for bonuts. I think they've worked the math out this time with the "quests" to make getting the prizes "easy" but getting bonuts "hard" but possible.

I'm at around 3600 hats, so I'll definitely get one bunch of donuts, but that's it. Better than nothing, I guess.

The bonuts are brutal this time around. Starting at 4000 hats? :shock: I'm not a hardcore player, but I usually manage to net two bonuts per end period of each event, this time around I'm not even going to hit the first one :cry:

For my first (and likely only) bonus round last night.

At this point pretty much ignoring the game and enjoying life until Act 2 starts up.

I did buy the duff thing with donuts but haven't sped up any tasks or quests and have so far got one set of bonus donuts and should get a second set too but that will be it, quite a few less than I've got in previous events but I'd say that the collectable items (bows/baubles /hats etc) seem to more difficult to obtain than in some other events.

I am a premium player so I got the Duff arena, no characters. I have gotten bonuts twice now and I'm not expecting/not trying to get it again.

I already got 2 free bonus donuts yesterday for completing my first round of bonus donuts, I hope to complete another round or two of more free bonus donuts before act 2 starts.

One round of bonus donut are looking close but doable for me. I'm sitting at 3201 hats. I'm really enjoying the merrymaker finder button. Helping to boost those ornaments.

I think EA designed the event to make the bonus donuts relatively hard to come by. We got the bulk of our Santa hats from leveling up the Snowman and the Gingerbread House. That's fine by me as it makes for less grinding after obtaining the last prize. Plus the weekly challenge donuts make up for the lack of bonus donuts.

Just got Patches and Violet this morning and am not even halfway to the 4000 needed. I'm working tomorrow so my chances are pretty much zero. But I got the 20 donuts for last weeks challenges and should get 20 more for this week, so I'm happy. Just waiting for part 2 start now. :D

I got my first round of bonus donuts earlier today. Highly doubtful I'd be able to get in another round, so I'm not stressing out over it.

Even if it's harder getting the bonus donuts, I agree with what others mentioned about the 20 donuts from the weekly challenges is a nice alternative for those who aren't particularly keen on grinding away through the whole act.
