Brother Faith Feel The Powah Pt 3

The task is the "Make Brother Faith preach with song and dance". This is his event task that earns pennies and is highlighted in gold letters on his task list, I selected it. I completed it but it did not give the recognition that it completed part 3 of his quest line. In fact, the task bar has the red circle through it. Am I missing something? Does this have to be completed with another character that is currently unavailable by being on a task?

EDIT: FIXED after you advance the Homer the Heretic past that part of the quest, Brother Faith is able to complete the task in his quest line.

    I posted about this in B&I. I had the same thing happen. When I got to Part 4 it cleared ok. I just kept reassigning him to the task since he was earning Event money.

    how did you get to part 4 without finishing part 3 first?

    When I had enough game $ it just went to the next level and cleared that task that kept showing as 0/1.

    Looks like the same thing I ran into. Just keep assigning him the task until you level to Part 4

    It looks like there are two tasks with the same name, one of them is a 4 hour task that gives out karma, and the other is an 8 hour task. If you're on part 3 of the event, the 4 hour task pops up and prevents the 8-hour one from coming up. Once I finished part 3 event, I could send him on the 8-hour task to finish the next part of his questline.

    I had the same issue and it eventually does figure itself out , it is a 8 hour task that it requires but the 4 hour task overrides it until you get past it
