Can someone explain how community prizes work?

The meter keeps track of all goo being collectively "collected" by the TSTO community (supposedly)...the first prize should unlock at 1 billion, then another at 2billion, and so on.....it becomes available to everyone once unlocked.... :twisted:

I remember reading somewhere that its 5 billion for each prize... I hope I'm wrong!
