- don't buy land unless you need it allows you to save up millions so you have plenty for updates and land when you need it.
in the mean time just bet on the 99-1 odds and if you have 30000 krustyland tickets (and everything built in KL) exchange them for $200k efin98 wrote:
This is just great, I spent all $800,000 I had saved up for the Level 41 update last night on 18 plots of land under the belief that the level update wouldn't happen for another two or three weeks...NOPE!
Really great, just great. Now it's grinding it out for two weeks to get the $800,000. EA really knows how to get you to hang around for the long run
Hey Neighboureeno!
I have done the EXACT same thing, however I did have JUST over $800,000 left so managed to buy the Vulgari store. But have little cash left now :(efin98 wrote:

I think everyone's been here at some point. I did the same thing and then Smithers was added to the game. Had to grind it back up. Back then, the post office was 400k and was hard to save for it.
Thankfully money is plentiful, but I think you will enjoy the additional time, since who knows when the next level will be?efin98 wrote:

What belief? It's your own fault.
People need to stop blaming EA for everything.
Cannot believe I had to go onto pg 2 to find the first decent thread we've had on here for ages.efin98 wrote:

Im in the same boat I had held off on buying the ahh fudge factory because I was doing quests I finally started building it yesterday so I ended up being short. My advice is to hold off on the land until fall or until you need it because if it's anything like last year then we probably will have levels every 2 week and I'm guessing that 42 will be a million or close 2- I actually think 800,000 for a building at Level 41 is reasonable. I'm sure EA looked at the general average $ amount people had at different level points, and found it affordable.
I'm just a regular daily player who have been playing for a year ($freemium here), and I have just been waiting for updates and have lots of cash to spare.
You should use your extra land and turn it into a house farm, and gradually phase it out. I started with Purple houses, then gradually changed them to blue houses and white houses. - I spend close to $9million on the bloodmobile (got myself 12 free donuts) ;) and I keep a $10million in reserve.
- Yeah, I bought The Sunsphere the day before the update. But two weeks? Arent you getting like 300 per town visit? That coupled with tasks and house income should get you up there pretty quick.
- I know what you all mean i spent about 1.5Million on these items on the update and i am now left with 147million left :P
Seriously my daughters town she had just saved up 2million on the basis to buy the escalator to no where and boom an update so she now back to saving up again
It doesnt surprise me that these in game cash items are expensive, there are so many people who say how much in game cash they have and dont know what to do with it (myself included) EA have seen this and put the prices up! The good thing is the items are limited and you can take your time to buy them :) - I too was saving for one of thoses non essential items, so luckly I had money for new place. I was lucky, very lucky
