Changing date/time settings for another game
I think you'd be ok as long as you have tapped out shut down and don't run it while your date/time settings are changed. But you never know.

What benefit would it really be to change the date and time on this game anyway. Why are there so many jerks on this forum these days? The OP asks a simple question and you feel the need to put him/her down :?
If you want to say it's cheating, please enlighten us, to what benefit?
Should be self explanatory for a game that revolves around time based tasks. If you need more "enlightenment" than that try google.
