Character hang ups

I have the missions bear with Maggie and little chicken monsters pt.1 and I need Maggie and Agnes to go on a task. Them and other characters have the check on their icon in the upper left corner. But when I click on them nothing happens. Any suggestions?

    If they are hung up doing a task at a building, trying storing the building. That should free/reset all the characters at the building.

    I think Agnes is attached to Skinner House... if you store and re-place that house, that should also reset Agnes.

    There were like all my characters at one location. I delete that building and the freed up everyone I needed. Thanks!
