They might lower the price. I actually have not been buying balls because I am trying to get four players to max stars (I am really close) after I do this I will spend all my amateur bucks on balls.

The community prizes are basically gimmes from EA! They will give them all but they want to give them in a timely manner so the last prize is given out on the last day or days! They will do it this way till the end! When they think it is time to get the next prize they will lower it and than go back to the 110 mill until it is time for the next prize! This way they keep 100% control over when the prizes are won!

Hoping EA release an update on Monday (think that's when Act 3 releases anyway), that change the totals to:

Springfield Arms - 5,000,000
1,000 Amateur Bucks - 8,000,000
Taste of Duff Beer Truck - 12,000,000
The Gridiron - 16,000,000

With the current balls per second rate we should hit about 16-20 million by event's end (depending on how much the ball per second rate holds up over the next ten days).
