completing in game story line

If you don't do them before the event ends you won't get all the tasks for the characters. And some of them are really funny.

if that is the case i guess ill do those tasks and not grind for extra materials for the next acts.

One of my games is level 49 with no Premium characters that help with this event. I did all the extra tasks and leveled up several times in Act 1 (requiring event characters to be pulled off event tasks) and still had 2 days to stock up on materials before Act 2 hit.

I was about to ask this same question.
I would hope that we can finish these side quests later. I had to go non-stop in generating event currency and had 1.5 days to spare. I did get a start on some of the quests, but still haven't been able to pull Homer off long enough to ride the horse.
Any other time there has been remaining side quests, I was able to finish them up later. There seems to be a day or 2 of grace time at the end before they wrap everything up.

This is almost certainly not true. Questlines only need to start before the end of the event, it is not necessary to proceed through all of it. Unless they changed it with this event, which I highly doubt.

So i don't need to be sending people to listen to Gummy Joe tell stories?

As far as Iknow...which may be not much :mrgreen: ......as long as you have the task started and in your task book then you can do them after the event ends and dont lose out on anything (except money and xp)
I've got a couple that I havent done because I dont want to take Homer off resources
