So does that mean ilf my baskets were full when the glitch happend i lost all the eggs or will i get them back?

The update did not fix the bad baskets in my second town. I have 5 that are all still untappable :(

I've had an intersting basket issue since the update I've not seen mentioned yet. Picked up a blue basket from a bunny, not the first one I've had, placed it and it was immediately full without anyone else filling it. Tappex for the eggs and it didn't show anyones name coming off it.

I seem to have gotten a single donut from the update too. Went from 99 to 100

Just got 2 more donuts - either I got them from visiting friends (which I didn't see any donuts) or I got them from opening boxes. Anyway, the update didn't fix baskets. I have at least 2 neighbours who still have dud baskets. They may not have updated though.

Well that's weird because two of my pink baskets that were untappable, filled up over night. Sadly, my two blue baskets haven't filled, but I haven't tapped them so no idea if this is just my neighbours avoiding them.
