- As an Android user I found it very difficult to get 5 stars. while I was trying to fix my Jasper quest issue I built an extra 6 Quickie Mart and still could not get it to 5 stars. Having all the other premium buildings available my only other option is squid port stuff but with no room to put them right now that's not really an option. It was then I realized that it is not worth it right now.
- Forget the 5 star rating. Go for lovely bonus multipliers and still have a lovely SF
- Just had a look around and noone really knows why its at 4.5
Maybe next update that will be fixed to 5 star
I already have 2 KEMs and dont think any more than 2-3 KEMs is necessary. - I already have 4 KEM's which I don't mind, but don't really want another one, and I have a decent multiplier, so I guess I will just have to deal! Thanks for the responses though!

Why do most people assume it should be 5 stars if you have all the stores, both premium and otherwise right now? (That's including every store in Squidport). I guess EA have made it this way to prepare even further ahead. Eventually we will be able to get 5 stars with 1 of each building. But that might take a few more levels and event updates. Again, just relax and be patient people. We will all be able to make it finally. (Without alot of KEMs or GnBs...)- Because once you have reached the highest level you should have all the stars.
There would be no point in having the stars if you cant light them all up. - I refuse to have multiples of any building to reach a 5 star rating. It's stupid that you need multiples Kwik-e-Marts, Gulp-n-Blows & random houses.
I only like having one of each type of building - I have 5 stars in one of my side towns. I am at level 30 with all the standard buildings and no premium buildings.
My Squid Port Buildings are The House Boat, Malaria Zone, Just Rainsticks, The Frying Dutchman, and the Itchy and Scratchy Store.
From the Holiday Events I have the following buidings: Super Collider, House of Evil, O'Flanagan's Pub, Howard's Flowers, Sir Puts Alot, Phineas Q. Butterfats, Both Cemeteries, the Colosseum, and the Duff Stadium.
Even with all the holiday buildings I still needed 11 Kwik-E Marts and 14 Gulp-N-Blows to achieve my 5 Star Rating. That is ridiculous!. Ridiculous!! .
If you were to start playing today, you would never be able to have a decent looking town and a 5 Star rating. Deadshot_DCU wrote:

I'm exactly the same way. The Indolence rating severely needs some more houses to get to 5 stars (and I own everything, premium, Limited Time, regular). We need -- if I recall correctly -- another 10 or so new houses to get a 5 star rating at level 30, and those requirements go up with each new level. I think another several restaurants and stores each would put Lvl 30 players at 5 stars.
That said, it's going to take quite awhile to get 5 stars without using multiple buildings. But whatever, I'll enjoy the ride. Still have plenty of open land to build on (been playing for awhile and spent quite a bit of money on doughnuts), so as theyre released I'll buy them.- This was a thread I made examining this very issue pre Squidport (so I need to update it in terms of what counts and what doesn't towards certain ratings).
But overall it helps point out total needed and what counts toward what, what doesn't, etc.
