Crafting currency is halving

I suppose it will depend on the cost of the item, if the price is halved that of what it would have been in hats then it won't be an issue.
  • just started act two and it looks like materials are getting more scarce with the addition of the guns.
  • I made hats exclusively at the plaza, last act. Now that will probably be guns. Maybe what will get scarce is hats....

    You don't need as many guns as compared with pickaxes when you turn them into badges. The "value" of a single gun is worth more than a single pickaxe.

  • My experience so far is that it's gumming up the works. I'm still waiting for more guns while I'm sitting on thousands of pickaxes and hats. I'm not complaining, just looking at it and so far that's what I see.

    My experience is that the daily cap is "gumming up the works". I have about 700 guns currently but I can't spend them for another 5.5 hours due to reaching the daily cap earlier in the general store.

    If you didn't have troubles earning enough pickaxes and hats in Act 1 then I don't think you're going to have loads of trouble getting enough guns.

    maxed out the general store purchases the past two days without running out of guns, so hasn't been an issue with that piece for me.

  • I didnt have big stockpiles of any mats from last act, so Im trying to get some of all 3 mats for every 4 hour cycle. This process may work for you as well, and counts on being able to store Apu and Snake to reset the Craze, while Homer cant be stored:

    1) last 4 hr cycle - Apu/axes selected as craze
    2) pick 2 or 3 toons to work on axes which is the default (ie Lurleen 128, Belle 128, Marge 64)
    3) select Snake/guns as the craze
    4) pick 2 or 3 toons to work on guns (Apu 16, Old toothy guy 32, Moe 32)
    5) Go store the Jail w Snake - that will release him from the Craze selection, then replace Jail w Snake
    6) Select Homer/hats as the craze
    7) pick 2 or 3 toons to work on hats (Homer, Snake, Rich Texan 32, etc)

    This cycle with end as the default as hats, so select Apu or Snake to set the Craze for 2-3 toons, then save KwikMart/Apu or Jail/Snake to reset the Craze

    What do you think? (Works for me...)
  • Fx, that kind of tactic is good. I don't think it needs to be that evenly distributed. I'd do it but I can't bear to store all my KEM just to store Apu.

    Umm, half of 4 is 2.
    What's half of half of 4? :wink: Reread what you quoted and you'll see why my math is just fine albeit confusing.
