Mid-century mansion crafting event issue

I am having the same issue.

I have a workaround, invite another Sim into the lot and tap on one of the 'wavers', seems to have fixed it for now.

I'm having the exact same issue. I even deleted and reinstalled the app. When I downloaded my last saved progress, the glitch resumed!

Just tried it and that worked. I hope this isn't a faulty update that's tied to the MCM event launch. I've been waiting for this event!

Hi, I reached out to online chat about this and they said they’re working on fixing it, but what I’ve found to work is having other sims in the lot and tapping on the sim/ bonus multiple times rapidly to collect the candles. This seems to do just fine, hopefully it works out though because this is a great live event!!

This is a very annoying bug. Too bad there probably won't be a timely fix for it. 

I’m having the same issue but the temporary fix above certainly helps.
