Same glitch for me. Completed Burns Mansion to take me to next level and then just had looping prize boxes.

Roughly 100 doughnuts later and they stopped.

No my xp shows 314318661/796279688.....

Still shows level 25.


What to do about huge xp?

The only hope is EA bumps us to level 26 when it's added (then resets the XP meter). If not, it'll be like being stuck in the Delta quadrant with the warp engines gone...

Report to EA. It has happened to my game and I have reported. They need to be aware of the fact that this glitch has been affecting 'many' players.

It's impossible they don't fix it. The question is, how much will they raise the next characters because of that? Because oh yeah EA WILL react :wink: same as for friends glitch. They gave mystery stockings for Xmas and since then, no more 60 donuts premium character...

The friends glitch and the level up glitch are apples and oranges, I'd say.

First of all, the friends glitch needed to be exploited proactively. The level up glitch just happened.

I chose not to bother with the friends glitch because I felt it would ruin the game for me. (It has taken me about a week to get enough money to buy the escalator. I'm sure my level of satisfaction when I buy it will be greater than someone who got the funds by merely exploiting a bug.)

EA gave mystery stockings for Christmas because the event was extended due to server woes. If the event had ended on Jan 3rd like originally planned, I doubt the stockings would have happened.

Also, Dr. Nick was 90 donuts at the start of the Christmas event. This was before the friends glitch was even known about. I think you're jumping to conclusions about EA trying to penalize people due to a few folks exploiting a bug.

Yee-hah! I was able to add 12,286 XP points to the pile! 13 years will go just like that!

I got 91 donuts from this glitch. My advice to anyone it happens to: blo it on Homer Buddhas.

I agree they are different glitch but I stick to my point. Im sure the prices will go up. Shauna hardly appeared in 5 episodes and she is 90 donuts instead of 60. The mansion couldve been a million but instead the escalador and tower are more pricey right after the friend glitch. coincidence? Time will tell...

The escalator and tower are the "chase cards" of TSTO. They tie in to the whole "more money than common sense" conceit of the monorail episode. I think EA added them to give people things to shoot for once the main objectives have been fulfilled.

I've been saving for the escalator for a week and will have enough for it tomorrow - and I never bothered with the friends glitch.

Newer (standard) properties will get more expensive because it's assumed players will be earning a lot more money once they get to the higher levels.

Yes, Dr. Nick and Shauna were 90 donuts. But, so was Marge's witch outfit (which even removes a regular character if you use it).

And wasn't Kang 150 donuts? (Granted, the gun adds to your bonus total, but it doesn't earn money like proper premium buildings.)

Bumblebee Man was 60 donuts and he came out after the 90-donut witch costume.

Shauna was 90 donuts, but she's limited, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I've played other freemium games, and TSTO by far gives you the most amount of non-premium content.

I bet there will be more 60-donut premium characters in the future.

I emailed EA about this problem they really helpfully suggested i delete the game and reinstall. Great advice as usual :roll: i then emailed back to say this obviously didn't work. No response as of yet.
