I'm 17 hours into Day 1 (30 Skeletons) and at 26/30 Skeletons.

The only Premium item I have is from a previous Halloween (Mausoleum 8h 8 Skeletons) Even without that, I would still be making good progress on the Day 1 task.

Some players might not be complete Day 1 in 24 hours, but you do have 7 days to complete it.
