Why do they always tell you to do the logout/login or delete/reinstall thing when it's clear that the problem needs a different solution? It's almost insulting. I'm not too great at IT stuff so I expect those who work on helplines to have a greater knowledge than me. I recently asked another company for support and made it clear I'd tried all the help suggestions on the website (at least they had some.) But the first few responses I got just parroted all the same old ideas. It was only after I kept contacting (7 times) that someone who knew what they were doing responded with a new (correct) fix for my problem.
