Ouch! Not what I would have expected. Thanks for letting us know. From the intro tasks, I had assumed it would just give you an alternate task for the day with no penalty. Maybe this only happens if you're on the first day (0/5 or whatever). Might be worth switching a task if your reward is only 3 donuts, just to see if you can boost it to 6?

According to tstoaddicts it's utterly random. There's no punishment for skipping/swapping a challenge.
