People can get into YOUR town 24 hours after YOU update. That means that you can get into their town 24 hours after they update.

Some people got the update right away and others (like myself) didn't realize there was an update and was hours late to get it.

Again, just a theory and I don't understand why they would do a 24 hour lag like this.

In a few days we're going to be begging for more stuff. I've just started building all 3 valentine's buildings.

You get the "valentine card"-icon over the character (or the building if currently inside) and when tapped you'll see who is the sender...

I understand but let me make a timeline to simplify it;
7pm I update my iPhone (my only device I play on)
7:30pm I text my family members reminding them to update
10pm I am able to get into their town and get cards. In fact the timer resets in 3 hours for me to get more cards from them.

7pm today, no one can get into MY town. Also I can go into all of theirs but I was able to last night about an hour after THEY updated. I honestly think its just random lol

Valid points but it seems that for some people that it is 24 hours after they updated.

I am happy to say that this is slowly getting fixed.

I can now log back into my Springfield after a momentary "cannot connect" issue.

And while I cannot visit all of my neighbor-eenos, I was able to get to about 1/4 of them.

Plus, I had my first Valentine's cards as well. :mrgreen:

It seems odd that this is only partially working (I would think it would be an all or nothing event), but I'll take what I can.

Same here, I tried Neo, but no luck.

Oh why oh why can't people get into mine :( :cry: maybe it has to be 24hrs from downloading the update? Which would make mine 3am uk time or about 3hrs from now lol
