Daring Droid help

I did the event with the same team, EP and vader were g10, the rest g8. Vader lead wa the key to winning for me. The tm removal really made a difference. No zetas used.

I did it with the first 5 toons on this list https://swgoh.gg/u/lenoralupin/collection/?f=empire. I haven't raised their gears at all since getting 7* R2 and the only thing I did was switch around some mods. So I'd say this is probably a good minimum to go for, though prepare for about a billion tries. xD

I think you should be okay. I did it with that team except Snow instead of TFP. Similar gear levels.

You should smoke the event. I did it with magma, EP, tarkin, Vader, and TFP.
magma was g7, the rest were g8. all level 7-8 abilities. Getting TFP as fast as possible with crit damage stacked on him was the key to 7* R2 for me. I would just restart if anyone other than Magma was stunned, ability blocked, or dead after their opening zerg. Beat it by focusing down R2 first other than killing Han with a single saber throw from vader. Leia was next priority, then Chewie, then Old Ben.

Vader lead didn't work at all for me, especially on tier 7 where they are immune to tm removal. Palp lead worked best.

I've put TFP in t9 since then and taken the mods from them that I stole from my arena team to beat the event, but otherwise they are unchanged from when I got my R2 7*.

IS doing the 5* worth it`? I would need to put my whole energy on the heroes to get to 5* until the event...

R2 is probably best F2P friendly hero in the game

Should be okay with that buff immunity from pilot was key for me, all I really had was EP and Vader

I'm hoping to do it with Palp, Vader, RG, Tarkin, and storm trooper. Gear 11 on Palp and Vader, 10 on Tarkin, 8 on Rg, and hope to have storm to 7 or 8 by then

O be fair @Carn Unless you are low level and don't need Luke yet, you really want r2 at 7* if possible as soon as possible, but well, in Bt he is so important for me because he stuns with basic, so I gain a great advantage from that, so at least you could get him 5* for the first 5 phases of TB
