I absolutely agree! I won't delete my friends because of this. They're not at fault. Once the lag is fixed then, in time, I guess I'll find out who is playing and who isn't. But for now, I'm leaving things as is. :D

I dont do that either, i have two friends town that at the moment i cannot enter as it keeps booting me out :( I cant delete them as i know it not really their fault, although their towns are rammed with decorations :lol:

Yeah, I dont see how that achieves anything. We're all in the same boat. And it's EA'S. And it's sprung several leaks. While careening towards an ice berg. Also the kitchen is on fire and there are no lifeboats.

If I were to do that I'd be deleting everybody, it's not their fault, it's EA's and hopefully they'll fix it.

I've not been able to get into my town since Tuesday, as it keeps crashing when I reach the splash screen. I really hope I don't get deleted by people :( I'd finally gotten a load of neighbours with really interesting towns!anniepoo965 - If any of my neighbours are reading this, please keep me!!

Do you crash in my town? I didn't crash in yours on iPad4. I noted some irregularly long loading time in your town though (along with some other long time, fully loaded neighbors whose towns usually don't cause any issues). I crashed two times during my 100 neighbor exhibition tonight. I guess that's better than some are reporting. The lag is pretty awful though, I hope EA has a quick fix because this update has a very consequential bug in it. After the Easter Event, they don't have a lot of leeway for programming errors. They've already met their quota.

Hello Neighbour :thumbup: No i didn't lag in your town last night, was a little slow in loading but nothing major :) I will double check tonight as the FP system is working now :)

I've heard loading my town is a little slow but i think that is cos i am slightly over the 4500 deco limit :( It so hard to stay under that limit tho

Interesting ... I get from this that only some towns are crashing. I haven't bothered to go beyond the neighbour whose town I can't visit because I presumed it was a problem in all my neighbours' towns - I guess that explains why some neighbours are still able to visit me.

I am easily confused these days :?

Anyway, I'll try another couple of neighbours and report back ...

Yep, it works!

EDIT: I don't make a habit of deleting neighbours unless they've been inactive for at least a week, so there's no chance of me deleting anyone until EA sorts out this issue.

That means you're safe too, Neo :lol:

To all my neighbors, I keep getting thrown off trying to visit your Springfield. Until EA fixes this problem, I won't be visiting. Sorry.Hopefully they'll fix this soon.

I couldn't get on one of my neighbours in the Valentine event. he never deleted me, so I assumed he knew that as I had gone from visiting everyday to nothing then something was wrong.

Exactly the same for me, I have now memorised which friends are in front of both towns, so I don't try to arrow into them by mistake and crash the app. Feel sorry for them tbh

Someone described that the issue was that the game loads all characters and buildings at the beginning instead of loading them once you scroll towards them as before. Don't know if that's true though?

Anyway, I'm not sure it's the only issue, because my daughter is like level 10 or so (she just started a week ago) and she dumps on me.

Anyways, I'm glad to read that not all people randomly delete, just because there's a bug! :thumbup:

this morning I had three towns that were crashing my game but I've just gone in and I can get into two of them now. Maybe they have done some housekeeping in their towns like putting characters on tasks that has helped. One I still can't get into I'll try again later.

I had one friend who lagged, because of a HUGE house farm. So I messaged him and told him he was crashing my game. I never deleted him, I just didn't visit and now he has a beautiful SF, so I'm glad I never deleted him.

I'll never delete someone for lagging or crashing my game. I find it's never consistent and it's not their fault. If all else fails, you can just put them on hide for now. I only delete for inactivity. My most recent friend deletes were people with nothing to tap, no easter or vday stuff, and Origin said they hadn't logged in for 13 weeks. As long as I've got at least 70 neighbours to visit, I'm happy.
