Deleting Excess Friend Requests - Makes game load faster!

If you have friends on another platform, then they will show up as not having played in months and not having TSTO. I had that happen on my friend list when some of them switched to Android. I deleted them thinking they had abandoned the game only to find out what had happened when they PM'd me later..... :oops:

You can go into the Origin Client - download it to a PC - to manage your friends list.

Oops! I think I deleted these people too! :oops:

Sorry, I may be dense but I've downloaded the Origin download onto my laptop, how do I remove the 500+ pending friend requests which are grinding me to a halt? I can't access it on my iPhone TSTO anymore, it doesn't load up and the game doesn't load up.

Click ignore on all of them. If you rest the mouse over the ignore button, you can just keep clicking and it will delete them one by one fairly quickly.

@Mae - I've learned to look for signs of activity. Crops growing, Squidport, people on tasks.

@Nonoddie - That's exactly the way I did it. Thank you for taking the time to outline the steps.

I had a lot of "friends" with really really bad towns.

Just cleaned out everyone except my two real friends.

Now to add some nice "friends" to this game. Pity that I had to install the Origin client on my PC to do so.

the origin on my mini ipad seems unstable has since whacking day. flickers alot i have no requests just 31 pending

Oh goody i figured it out my origin list seemed unstable flickering alot. I click my first friend on the list went into their profile. Then went back to the list and list was more stable then i could open the pending friends list. Now i could see the names to block on origin client.

its anyoing as hell but the pc version is the best/easyiest way so far :mrgreen:

Thanks, spent 10 min clearing them all out. Sadly my Springfield loads up as slow as ever. Unless a fix is upcoming, I don't think I can play this anymore.
