Design opinion....... Agree? Disagree?

This is Springfield after all. It doesn't have to be like real life.

Heck I've seen people have the Laramie Vending Machine in the Elementary School. Getting to them early lol.

My jail is next to Sir Put-A-Lots

    ROTFLMAO!

I grew up in a small town on the East Coast. The "jail" was attached to the police station, beside a diner, then a hairdresser. You walked past it everyday on you way to and from school. In the afternoon, the "prisoners" were out in the yard and kids would point and laugh. This was fun, but one day this kid starts hitting another kid and a big fight broke out. Cops come out and break it up and they ask what the fight was about.
"Tell him to stop making fun of my Dad!"

    True story!

Stuff like this I have seen..... Usually with helpful signs that say things like "picking up hitchhikers is prohibited".....
Cuz ya never know who just got out of prison!

Don't see that one too often, hitchhiking is how a lot of folks get to town.

Now this is one you see all the time, and mighty helpful too!

And they know exactly where to cross!
  • the prison is one of the few things I have to keep moving outward as i acquire more land. i want it far away from town, but we can't just buy land any where whenever we want. it's taking a while.

i wish the property values were based on sequence of purchase instead of predetermined on a grid. then I'd have bought property up in the far right corner, built and designed my jail, and been done with it! i hate all this reconfiguring!
  • My prison is all the way in the top left corner because I wanted almost how it was in the episode sideshow Bob Roberts I think it was how he fell off the cliff as soon as he steps out the door

Not to pick on a silly little thing but what town do some of you live in? I have never been to a place where the prison/jail is across the street from the school.

I was just as surprised when I first drove through Englewood, CA and saw that the jail was across the street from the high school. Imagine my thoughts when I learned that there was actually a tunnel under the street connecting the two... That's where I want to send my kids... NOT.

Hmmm, flying deer ... one of Santa's no doubt ...
  • The city I'm from has a prison within city limits. It is surrounded by a business and residential area on three sides and a river on the other. In fact, there was a high school right across the street, but that building has been converted into medical offices.
  • My prison and elementary school share a barbed wire fenced in playground/exercise area. I like to think that the students and prisoners can take turns working out on the monkey bars and teeter-totters.
