The splash screen usually illustrates newly offered features. In this latest, we see Wiggum AND SKYFINGER betting on a wheel. I don't recall seeing this in the event. Do you think they planned a prize wheel, and then scrapped it? And why so many pink leis when we didn't see them in the game either? Could we have been collecting leis to cash in on prize wheel spins?? Anyone see evidence of this in the game code?

I think they bailed on a potential gambling theme in the story line. That wheel is a Dharmachakra (wheel of life) which is a part of many faiths in the region. My mystery box was full of casino event items for an unexplainable reason so maybe that was another way they were planning on corrupting Lisa's plans but then someone thought better of it.

I'd take back the wheel, even though I hated it, just to add some excitement to the game, again.

You're comparing what's basically an ornamented steering wheel of a ship, to the pie holder from a game of Trivial Pursuit? ??They most definitely make small enough details in this game, and if those were meant to be the same items, they would look more similar than this. The base of each is completely different.

Did they plan and scrap a prize wheel?

That's excellent. I suspected it was made of stone but didn't want to over speculate.

Now I'm really interested in why they scrapped all the casino related tie-ins. I wonder if a new casino event is coming instead.

On another note relating to the splash screen for the event - was the usual Matt Groening signature hiding in there somewhere? I normally manage to spot it, but not this time.

I don't believe any of the characters have any wheels as a visible task but when you tap the Royal Tower it says "Storing Dangerous Spinning Wheels" so that's probably where the wheels are for this event.

Unless its really well hidden, I don't see the Matt Groening signature on the splash screen. Also on some splash screens, Advisor Frink appears behind Homer by the wheel and others he doesn't so it might be on that one.
