I'm freemium and never NEEDED to house farm.
It's just a choice you make when you can't handle playing at the pace set by the game. That's your impatience, not EA's pricing schedule.
I mean exactly how easy is the game supposed to be? Where is the sweet spot between you complaining that it's too expensive vs not challenging enough?
