Disappearing Obols Glitch

I also keep the monsters together but haven't really paid much attention to whether all obols have been collected from monster fights or not. I think from now on I will move them apart just before collecting and check to see if the obols get added to the total.
As for the trick or treaters, I always tap on the bag in the upper right corner and have been getting all of the obols. However, and I don't know if it makes any difference or not, but I tap one, wait for the obol count to go up, tap the next, wait for the obol count and so on. Maybe the trick is not to tap too fast?

Ok the separated monsters did give an obol. I got 1 obol for each monster, a 2 fighter and a 3 fighter. Which sounds wrong but guess that's it? 1 per monster not per fighter? :(

I think obols from monster fights are randomly given per fighter, similar to how it works with the small monsters - sometimes they'll give an obol, sometimes they won't. In my last collection of 4 fights, I got 1 obol, 0 obol, 0 obol, and 2 obols.
