Mods are volunteers and users like us they are not ea staff

I think they're just trying to keep the mood up during this period of silence. I doubt the developers would share information like that with the moderators.

Also there would be an update to remove gil deal so they are not lying since its known. Though deal remove happen automatically lately

I'm pretty sure the devs share a little bit of info with them during updates, so yes, I believe them when they say that something good is coming.Now we just have to coax one of them into spilling the beans. Hmm...
