Do you prefer multi-character tasks to single character tasks?

I dislike them. I don't like to have a certain time period be unavailable to a character unless some other character(s) are also available. It's incredibly irksome, actually. What if the other character is busy? What if they have stuff to do? Guess the poor dual-task-bound character is just out of luck on filling that time, they'll have to do a far less convenient task, that will finish while I'm sleeping or before class is over. Bah. No, I really don't like them.
  • Whilst I agree with neuroheart in that is can be annoying if the other character is busy, I do like most of the outside ones.

Banner shaking down Flanders, Suzanne zapping Homer and Maude shooting for revengs are some of my favourites.

Indoor ones (eg Babysit Rod & Todd) are just plain annoying though.

Right now Banner is my only character not looping on 8 hour tasks because Flanders is off earning me gift cards and Banner has no 8 hour task without him.
  • I love them, if they are outdoors.

Homer does seem to have an awful lot of them: First 8 hours with Maude, then 12 hours with Suzanne, now 4 hours with the Grumple. And once we get Uter, there will have to be a 1-hour one, as well (Chase Uter aka Uter running despite being full of chocolate).
  • I actually do like them too (when they are outdoor with animatiins even more).

Its more of a real world when they interact with each other. I could get way more of them (especially for 1h)
  • I just can't stop sending Burns and Smithers on the Money Fight! task. I'm also repeatedly sending Flanders to snowmobile with the boys because it's his only card-earning task and, let's face it: the boys have pretty lame tasks available anyway.

But having said that, in general I don't like the multi-character tasks because they tie up two (or more) characters yet only pay out the equivalent of a one character task.

    Outdoor:

Smithers exercising for Mr. Burns (60m)
Ebeneezer Burns and Smithers money fight (24h)
Suzanne casting wicked spells on Homer (12h)
Maude getting revenge on Homer (8h)
    Grumple fighting Homer (4h)
Homer giving Mr. Burns a piggyback ride (24h)
    Rex Banner interrogating Flanders (8h)
Bart and Kang run away (10m)
Kang and Kodos exchanging long protein strings (10h)
Legs and Louis interrogate a squealer (60m)
Rod and Todd riding the see-saw (4h)
    Selma cuddling Jub-Jub (6h)
Ms. Springfield enjoying an evening with the Mayor (3m)
Skinner and Agnes as the Skinner Sisters (10h)

    Did I miss any?

I just checked smithers exercising for burns and they pay 140$ and 34xp. So at least for these two you get the full payment :)
  • I voted no because it takes away options from me. If they had 2 versions of a task than I wouldn't mind, but getting stuck with having to need 2 characters for certain tasks is annoying and tiresome to me.
