Cosigned wholeheartedly. I hate that I'm starting to really dislike EA. I've never been a big complainer when it comes to this game or any other EA game. I've always liked a lot of their games and I've always been willing to fork out money. I'm not one of those people who complains about premium stuff. Most of the stuff in this game is free. In fact, I kind of like the idea of premium objects. I like saving up my money and buying things in this game. It's gratifying and I enjoy getting something out of it that is special. That's what being a premium player is all about. This event has taken that premise and destroyed it. It has removed all incentive to play premium during events. I have spent around 150 donuts on this event and I have nothing but Bunny #24601 to show for it. I know of other players on this forum who have spent double, even quadruple what I have spent and have ended up with nothing at all. That's not "premium" gameplay. That's a rip-off. This game is not advertised or categorized as a gambling game. If loyal premium players are going to trust EA not to rip them off, EA ought to have the decency to better the odds for premium players or to at least remove the lame prizes from the boxes after we win a certain amount. Every good thing I've won in this event (minus Bunny #24601) has been won with free eggs. I hope EA understands that they've made premium purchases during events completely pointless. I will not be making this same mistake in the future and I'm sure many others who bought the rigged eggs feel the same. EA may have made a lot of money off of us in the short term, but they're going to lose a lot in the long term. I will not pay for anymore chance games from EA. If they only made the odds slightly better for premium eggs, they may have ensured my continued business during future chance-based events. Alas, they did not and now I know better than to trust them. I hope they develop a different system for events, where premium objects are available to buy with donuts, with no gambling involved. Something like the community prizes and prizes you work for, with premium stuff available to buy for those who want it, would be much better for premium and freemium players alike. From what I've been reading, this event has seriously frustrated both premium and freemium players. Not many people are enjoying it. EA ought to listen to their customers. *end rant*

Some are not willing to bend and accept when insulted by businesses. Luckily for businesses, others silently accept whatever they are given. EA is happy to stand behind your efforts on their behalf.

I've got 36 leftover donuts and although I've repeatedly said I wouldn't spend any more donuts than I already have on Easter, I considered using 25 just to buy some goldens because, with the 300 golden eggs I already have, it would give me four boxes to open. Even if I just got Hugs Bunny or Shari Bobbins for 25 donuts (when EA will probably sell them for at least 90 when it's all over), then it would be worth it. After reading others' experiences, though, I think I'll pass. Maybe I might still use them last minute at the end of the event, but for now I'll just keep working toward my one pink or blue box per day that EA has deemed is all I can get.

What is unfortunate is that being able to buy golden eggs now doesn't in any way help those who are still trying to get Blocko store or Johnny Fiesta's (like me). They basically want us to buy something with donuts one way or another. Whacking Day was frustrating because of the glitches, but it was much more neighbor-interactive. At this point, I can't earn enough eggs to donate to my neighbors and they can't donate any to me because I haven't seen a basket in two weeks!

No one forces you to buy them. It is better for some people. Not me but some people.
I like EA they are a real business who make real money. None of you would moan if you worked for EA

Getting a house and a character for 180 is much better than getting a character for 175. Sure the money you make isn't a big deal, but having a new building to add to your building game is.

Haters are going to hate regardless of what EA does.

I went ahead and bought golden eggs despite this post and I got 2 kodos, father sean, and 300 golden eggs out of the first batch. Of course I got other stuff but I remember not what it was.

I plan to buy more later today :-)

I had 47 donuts and spent 25 for 1700 gold eggs. I had 400 already, so I got 4 spins out of it. First spin I got Shary Bobbins (the LAST of the characters I needed), so now I have ALL of the unique items. The other 3 spins I got one Kang, one Kodos, and one 300 Gold Eggs. It seems that the odds are all over the place as I know that some of my neighbors have yet to get anything really good. I got the Blocko Store like the second day of the event (pink was my common color), and about 4 days later Johnny Fiestas from the Blue. I also got Hugs Bunny, Banana Dictatorship, Bunny #xxxx, and Father Sean pretty early on as well (like the middle of the second week of the event). I was getting worried about not getting Shary as the event was drawing to an end, but with the leftover donuts that I had bought to finish the premium buildings, I figured I would give it a try. I got either lucky, or REALLY lucky with what has been posted on here.
