Well, a quick internet search says that 11-5 is indeed Donut Appreciation Day, but it is a Dunkin' Donuts promotion. However, according to wikipedia (I know, I know..) The first Friday in June is National Doughnut Day for honoring men and women who served doughnuts to the soldiers during WWI.

Who knew?

Edit, the Dunkin' Donuts promotion is for free coffee not donuts and is actually Customer Appreciation Day :(

I can't tell if trolling or truth, lol. I received zero donuts.
