I had read about this occuring in the past, so I have always been diligent to check the confirmation status after every update (even small ones), but have always found it to be set correctly.
Even so, I will continue to always check, because it seems if it happens to others, it is likely to happen to my game at some point too and as the saying goes, "better safe than sorry".
Too bad they are not willing to just set a request for confirmation as a standard/mandatory default.
Agreed. I have never had any trouble with this, but it's good to remind people after every update!
