Donuts from Krusty Land balloons

out of curiousity, what makes you say you aren't anywhere close to 300 balloons?

That's the break down, but I think he was asking where 300 is from. That was speculated from spAnser when Krustyland released.

I got 5 donuts 3 days ago.

I just did some quick research. KL was released on July 31. Which was 58 days ago as of 9/27. It took a few days of questline progression to reach and build the sideshow you. 300 balloons are popped in 100 visits. I visit sideshow you twice a day. So give or take a few days most frequent users will be hitting #300. I believe that explains the rise in donuts found.

Also I know it was rumored that there was a 1% chance but has that ever found to be accurate. And even if EA has stated a 1% chance, that does not mean they have delivered. (see donuts in snake eggs or the previous premium content bonus % issues).

If the 1% were true I would have expected to hit donuts an estimated 3 times by now.

this has already been brought up and yes it is definitely because of the 300th balloon pop. the only thing that makes me think the 1% is still accurate is that i remember seeing a picture posted very close to when we first got sideshow you so there was no way they had popped 300 balloons at that time.

the 1% could be even lower if you take this into consideration. If the prizes in the balloons are predetermined before anything is popped and there is a 1% chance that donuts are present then that would still mean you have a 3 out of 8 chance to actually popping the balloon with the donuts

That is a good point. I still have not seen enough evidence to be convinced the 1% bonus exists.

I did work out the 3x100...

the game files say the donut bonus is given after 300 games. apparently there was a misinterpretation or something in the way the files were written or read, because its clearly a bonus given after 300 balloon pops.

That's not true entirely though. If you play the lotto 1 million times are destined to win? Each event is separate and the odds are per event. So even though it's expected to have hit it multiple times, each event is separate from the one before it and the one after it.

gamer is correct if the events were linked then your odds would gradually improve but just like flipping a 100 heads does not mean the odds are now better for tails (although that coin may be bias)
