Doughnut Purchase Recommendations

Finally getting round to buying some doughnuts for the first time ... 900 probably. Any thoughts on some good/useful things to get, Halloween or non-Halloween.

I fancy Frink, because he is one of my favourite characters, and want to get the Ray Gun to complete the Kang/Kodos stuff, but beyond that I have no idea. Which would be good items to start with that have actual value in developing my game rather than just looking cool (although that is not a bad thing in itself, of course).

Both Frink and the Ray-gun for Kodos is great choices, and uses 300 donuts. As someone else wrote, I'd be inclined to get Otto and his bus, as he can also be of use in KL.

From this update, I'd actually recommend getting Witch Marge too. As she was from the last years Halloween, she don't have a questline this time around, sadly, but she is good value. Witch Marge comes with a cauldron that gives a bonus percentage to what you earn, and Witch Marge herself pays out premium rate (meaning you from now on can have Marge in this costume earn more money in-game). Witch Marge also has a task that can make your crops at Cletus grow faster. All this weighs out the fact you don't get a quest line in my point of view.

Otto and Witch Marge costs 120 and 75 donuts, adding 210 donuts for a total of 495 spent donuts if you buy these items.

After this, you might consider getting the Cemetary as every town should have one. It pays ghosts during Halloween, but I believe it will pay money afterwards. But if you prefer more character, you should take a look at Duffman (with his Brewery - this might be part of a package closer to Christmas, but no one knows for sure), Disco Stu (with his Disco), Jasper (with the Community House) and even Boobarella as she is limited to this Halloween update.

Furthermore even Sideshow Mel should be considered, as he comes with a building, and has tasks in KL. But all of this comes to personal preferance :)

EDIT 1 and 2: Squeaky-Voce Teen is great value for 30 donuts. Many outdoor tasks, and have tasks in both SF and KL. The same goes for Moleman, though he costs 60 donuts...
