- Haha :) I'm actually a little disappointed by Smithers' quotes. He's a great character, but none of his make me giggle as those of others do.
I love sending him on the "exercise for Mr. Burns" task though - poor guy must be exhausted! - "Ow my DNA!" is clearly the best line of the game.
- Yeah, I do think overall Dr. Hibbert's character has the most amusing phrases - along with Barney and Dr. Nick. I wonder why they can't just use sound clips of more of the all the character's best lines from the show? Most of them just have disappointed grunts, if they speak at all...
The early characters, like Homer and Lisa's quotes are more catered towards the gameplay, but they haven't really seemed to have kept up with that so I'd rather they just use time-tested ones from the show. They obviously re-recorded some phrases (e.g. Ralph's) so there must be some legal reason, but it is really a shame (and annoying!) - My favorite lines are...
Dr Hibbert: This is a horrible situation. Hehehehehe..he
Barney: Now that's what I'm talking about! What was I talking about?
Ned Flanders: Now what can I ding-dong-diddly do for ya
Gil: Hot damn! A customer! - Dr Hibberts phrases in TSTO have come from the Simpsons game from 07. So has the music while your in your Springfield. A lot of the characters I talked to in the 07 game actually have the exact same dialgoue as TSTO.
- Oh really? I had that game on the Wii but have almost no memory of it now; I suppose it does make sense. Still, it'd be nice to cycle through a larger selection of funny bits from the show, like with all the .wav files my friends and I would have on our computers in high school and college - good times!
- I've obviously mis-heard my share of phrases, but I think he's asking for "10 cc's (cubic centimeters) of"
as in:
Dr. Hibbert: "I've never seen a brain freeze this bad - give me 50cc's of hot fudge, stat! ... Hold still, you're going to feel a slight chocolatey sensation..." :) - Ten CC's of pain, ie ten cubic centimetres. He's basically prescribing in the way a doctor would ask for medication during an operation.
- Barney: 'Doesn't seem right, but my judgement's impaired'
Barney: 'Thats what I'm talking about, what was I talking about?'
And the old favourite:
'Willy likes that'
Smithers seems to be more obviously gay in the game, and there's lots more anti-religion stuff in there, I nearly spat out my cuppa when Ned's 'The Greatest Joke Ever Told' quest appeared for 'emergency bible studies'. - You're the mommy!
