EA are the ultimate troll
they've forgotten(on purpose) to implement the forgotten anniversary event. I envisage some sort of insider joke of "oops the event should have started yesterday" well played EA. well played.

I don't think they are trolling. Event updates come later in the day. I agree that the wait stinks. For the life of me I don't understand why having a lull or a lack of new content is desirable for anyone. Boring.
