I have never claimed to be a math expert, or even good, so I may be wrong here, but taking what you just said
40 +3.5%+14.24% = 41.5 rounded to 42, I guess I do not follow
40 * 14.25% = 5.7
40 * 3.5% = 1.4
So from what you are saying wouldn't it be 40 + 1.4 + 5.7 = 47.1 rounded 47 or am I doing something wrong?
