[EA confirmed] Major Bug with % Premium Items. DONT BUY THEM - THEY DONT WORK!

Hi there - after having suspicions myself about this after buying a stack of 60 Donuts for 4 Homer Buddas (I got a pretty rubbish haul to be honest!) I contacted Apple support to explain that the advertised effect of the premium items bought with in app purchase items weren't doing what they were advertised to do. I contacted them via the following:

Then I clicked 'Other iTunes Store Topics' then 'Quality of Purchased Content' then filled in the form. I heard back from Apple within around 2 hours and they refunded the stack of 60 Donuts - I kind of wish I'd brought more now! Oh well.
Anyway, it might not be the same for everyone and I know that items can do more than just increase %, but if anyone brought them for this reason alone I'd give it a try as this is a genuine problem with the game!
Loving the game though apart from this bug - currently level 20 and looking forward to being able to save up a bit of money to make my Springfield a bit nicer once I don't have to buy all the buildings anymore! I'd say add me, but I've already hit 100 friends...
