I have nothing nice to say about your post, OP.
You aren't owed anything.
Everyone got exactly the same 4x bonus- for free, a programming error caused it to end early and EA patched it. There's no crafting you didn't miss out on that you can't catch up on in 18 more hours at 1x.
I maxed out SH a long long time ago and only had to craft to built up my beach hideaways; it's just like the monorail, you'll eventually stop crafting anyway.
You're probably complaining to hope for free donuts, but the ridiculousness of your "loss" in this one pales in comparison to the serious bugs we all experienced two and three years ago.
Relax and enjoy the game.
