If I wait, and let it collect I can move on and all is well. If I have a no patience event and click and move while its collecting, it will overload and freeze. It will eventually resume but after an extended time, so a hard close is the fix.
On the third everything is sooooo slow. That being said, everything works if you wait. On that town I have finished Act 1, I have crafting to level 6, and bought out everything I didn't have in the store. No issues other than slow. No issues on all three visiting friends.

Excellent summary. My experience is the same as your second town.
