- Well at this point its not coming out today. I think it will either come out tomorrow or April 2nd. The reason most likely being the delay of the beach house.
- I'm curious, does anyone think it's possible that EA could have deliberately seeded a fake (but still fully coded) update, knowing that certain people have a tendency to...speculate...a little too accurately. Then tonight, maybe they'll drop a completely out of left-field update with an April Fool's Day jab.
Given how consistently the updates get leaked, I'd have to imagine that they've at least kicked around the idea of a fake-out to keep us on our toes. Seems like April Fool's would be the best time for that. - No, I don't think a modern software developement team would have time for a joke. Much more productive to complete requested enhancements and resolve bugs and issues.
- I'm 50/50 it's an AFD joke. A lot of tech companies are doing them now. And I've been playing for almost 2 years and I've never seen an update that was fully detailed like this and yet didn't appear on the expected source and hasn't been released yet.
It's very, very suspect right now. - Well no, of course it wouldn't be productive to do something like that, but this is the Simpsons we're talking about.
Honestly, I doubt that it's any kind of joke update too. Just idle speculation while waiting. - If this change does turn out to be true, then I would think EA is not changing the house prices to prevent people from house farming to to get the aspirational items. Rather, I would imagine it is to slow down to reduce the XP farmers, who continually bonus level up for free donuts. You know by purchasing bloodmobiles, or volleyball courts, or something like that, and then selling it after receiving the XP. With a very large house farm, you can cash in that in game cash for donuts, and not spend any real life money with EA. I am just speculating, but this would seem more logical to me.
- Bad news for newbies, i have 700 blue houses in storage so if they rais up ... got mine when needed :)

Same here, like most of the longer term players you can play your way out of house farming. But you are right, this is really just going to slow down newbies even more. It will be much longer for them to catch up to the current level.- My house farm houses now cost in the 100,000s of thousands to build onto. I am not intending to add more to the farm, but boy am I glad I have one now...
- I just wanted to thank LPN for the heads up on this. I stocked up on some purple houses before downloading the update. After the update my houses are 21,600. I am trying to. save up for land and aspirationals. So thanks LPN for the heads up !
