EA: Stop updating so often.

There's no time limit. When I first started playing, there were 20 levels and all I had has one house and one tiny square of land. I got everything along the way - that's kind of the point of the game.

You may want to re-evaluate whether this game is for you....it seems to be too difficult for you to handle....

It's a pretty legitimate complaint. I know I'm not the only one. I read people mentioning it months ago when there weren't many characters.
  • Well, if you've seen the other threads listing what else is apparently coming, it's not going to get any better... going to need more land, and not just the waterfront that may be coming in the next month.

That's what inspired this thread. It's kind of obnoxious. Obviously I'm GLAD that there are so many updates, but it's also kind of frustrating -- if the land was cheaper, it'd be far less of a problem. i need to figure out where to put the whole boardwalk (if there is one) thing. i have too much OCD in this game. map planning. AHHH!!
  • Wow, it feels like the heavens have just opened and we are getting an embarrassment of riches here. As long as the LE stuff is kept to a minimum, especially in light of Wacking Day, I have no problem with this. After all, summer is coming and people will have time on their hands.

Let's just take this one release, one day at a time and manage as best we can. I'm sure Gil will be around to bail out fat out of the fire with any LE content too.

Maybe you would be happy with a yearly update
Why spend so much effort decorating right now, you know there's lots of stuff to get, just rough it out and fine tune it during the lulls

Because if I don't do it now, I'd fill it in with buildings on top of buildings and it'd look like straight *. And also, it'd be difficult to reorganize once everything's already in place. I prefer to place buildings and decorate as they unlock.

THAT'S HOW I'VE WON 18 STRAIGHT "BEST SPRINGFIELD" AWARDS!!!

Yeah, what he said! Besides, my OCD/Aspie won't let me rest until I fine tune. As it is, I am watching season 11 of Simpsons now and will be rewatching past seasons of the Simpsons to make it all neater.

Whoawhoawhoa. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to this game, but trying to perfect where places are? That's not even possible! It changes by episode!

But yeah. I don't even have Springfield Sign or Volcano Lair yet I'm planning my Springfield accordingly so I have spots for them to slot in ... basically have to plan for the future. Pretty needlessly stressful. Damn game...

not have your Springfield so spread out.

It's pretty condensed. I just don't want to have an awful looking Springfield with buildings lined in a row.
  • with every update though they tend to lower the cost of the previous updates buildings.

burns manor is down from 120k to 102k because they brought out 2-3 new buildings with level 28.
