But wow! wadebear, you're blowing through over 1000 donuts per week ? you must have a serious amount of returning content for that, I'm guessing that's a reasonably new game, which I guess makes sense if it's your #4.
I'm buying everything available from the events. I never used to be able to afford anything, then I could get maybe one item per event... Now I get it ALL! >:) >:) >:) - wadebearRetired Hero

Thanks for all that. My %bonus is almost 1600% and I'm farming 100 kems every 4 hours, which gives around 200 donuts a day.
Uh... By my calculations if you should be bringing in 486 donuts a day.
Are you doing 5 rounds of KEMs per day or just 4?
Are you buying 2nd and 3rd chances on the boxes? Because it's cheaper and faster that way.
With a multiplier of 1900% -
If I do 5 rounds of 36 KEMs per day and tap all my building payouts every 4 hours and send all my characters on 4 hour tasks - well that was getting me 150 donuts.
Now that I have God I just do his 24 hour task, clear the buildings once a day, do 5 rounds of 36 KEMs and finish off with some Rat Trap Trucks to get 150. - @wadebear - It's not necessarily cheaper to retry, and usually a lot slower, but because KEMs take time before you can collect it usually makes sense to get the maximum return if you can afford it - at least to me.
I did the maths a while back and since forgot, but there comes a point, particularly with trucks, where the cost of placing more is less than the cost of retries based on average luck. Somewhere I've got the bonus needed where the costs equal out and it makes no difference in IGC, just time taken.
If you put down enough for 30 rounds in theory you get 10 of each 1, 2 and 3 sprinkle boxes first time, 60 Ds averaging out to 2 sprinkles a round. In theory with retries it's the same - 10 each of 1, 2 or 3 taps for the 3 Ds making an average of 2 taps a go. That means you would have spent $1.5 mil on retries for an extra 30 Ds - so if the 60 Ds cost less than $3 mil just buy more trucks.
( My luck isn't quite that good, I typically get 54 Ds from 30 tries - oh well !! )
I also play it different between collecting and farming, and between my A and B towns. My A town is huge, max cash and a ridiculous number of sprinkles so when I collect it's always go for 3 but if I farm it's whatever I find first box and save time. In my B town it depends on mood, but collecting and KEMs are always hunt the 3 because I'm working towards items or targets, at least for now, and for trucks it's can I be bothered now my bonus is coming on nicely.
Last B town truck blast was 30 trucks giving 300 Ds in a little over ten minutes rather than probably 20 minutes for closer to 480 Ds and likely taking the cost from just over $3 mil to over $10 mil when I'm a week or so away from reaching the first $1 billion IGC.
Then again it's always a personal choice, there is no right or wrong way to tap. Play the game in a way that suits you and makes you happy is the best answer. - I usually get 4 rounds of 100 kems a day, and always go for 3 donuts each time, using up to 3 chances sometimes. Although I seem to be pretty lucky and can guess which is the 3 box.
I sometimes buy the trucks if I need to get a few extra for something if I haven't saved up. - frosted1414Seasoned Newcomer

Use the Kem Calculator if you want to find the most cost effective way to farm
http://lwshost.com/tsto/kemcalc.pl - There is an in-between strategy that's pretty good on time and value, from a quick look not quite as included in that calculator . . .
Using the same average luck numbers as before, 30 goes getting 10 x 1D, 10 x 2Ds and 10 x 3Ds but this time if you get the one donut box have one retry and collect whatever that gives.
In theory then it's 5 x 2 and 5 x 3, 25 Ds instead of just 10, as well as the 50 Ds from the other 20 boxes. 10 retries costs only half a mil IGC, so if your trucks cost $2mil then each 15 donuts cost half a mil anyway as did the extra from retries.
It takes about 2 minutes to rattle through 30 rounds when I farm and 10 retries takes about an extra 30 seconds, so it's 30 seconds for 15 Ds either way without thinking of the time it takes to place and sell the trucks. The cost is minimal even if a batch costs less than $2 mil and it is faster because you'd get from 4 batches what it would otherwise take 5 batches to get, saving the place and sell time of a batch :) - All the above makes my head spin. I’m glad I have all 5 of my games at max cash so when I need donuts for events I sell and buy back Krusty’s oil rig. Since I only play events now and have all the old content I care for, that’s good enough (I lose fewer donuts to crashing with rat trap trucks).
- Talking about the oil rig, do you get donuts for selling it or something?
- @pigsick57 you get 80,00 XP + collider and bonus for an $8 mil spend on an oil rig. Collect the sprinkles for however may bonut rounds that gets you then sell it to get $2 mil back and start again,
There are other high value deccies some also use, but it's a tenth of the XP per $ compared to trucks. ( you'd get about the same XP from only 6 Bloodmobiles )
If cash doesn't matter give it a go and make your own mind up.
Bear in mind too that Bart can foul up anything that tips your XP counter over 2 million ( or 2 levels worth if you're not at level 939 ), meaning all you'd get is an apology bonut round and a counter reset to zero !! "pigsick57;c-2188128" wrote:

Yes. Selling and buying the oil rig is a very good option only if you are at the cash limit and you do not have a lot of time. It is faster than rat trucks or blood mobile farming but you get less donuts.
