Don't worry, Boris is on the case now... only another ten years of it to go..In all seriousness, they moan about it's gonna take years to get any kind of deal sorted and how we'll still be paying into the EU, etc etc ... but until we actually start the process of leaving and getting round the table to start on negotiating those deals, then we can start making the final payments and the years of negotiations will start to pass... But as for Edwina... she went straight into currency gathering as I only bought her this morning after starting this weeks event late...

The task doesn't look like she's escaping Brexit but reminding people of it. She spins that sign better than Kirk does.Unrelated but I was hoping her 8 hour task would have been at one of the phone booths, either the red one from over a year ago or the blue one that's always in the store.

We were doing more and more work on the electronics lines making chargers and other items, on one occasion, we were put on the electronics lines conveyors on day shifts to do these NYFD chargers. A lady secured the PCB to the base, can't remember if she plugged the LED in or me, but I screwed the two parts together, then it was back onto the conveyor for the next stage. These chargers were British made. On one night shift when we had been doing our work on the 116 Line, transformers for mobile networks, we had a large pallet come in from the land locked E.U. country where our business was being shipped out too, and we were to repackage them, they were the same product but the quality was non-existent. The printed part number and date of manufacture had to be perfect on ours, on theirs, it was like a big smudge on every one, completely unreadable. We could not have any stray wires, theirs had loads. Theirs had such a high failure rate on inductance tests that we were breaking the cores off and re-doing them with our own cores. In the end we were told, "Leave it, put them back and send them on"., I think they had talked to the customer and had decided on a course of action that I was not privy too. I saw what was left in the box, every one would have been rejected if it had been made here, just for faulty printing alone they looked terrible and so they would have been checked and discovered the other faults as well. I think several of the office staff kept their jobs working somewhere else on the continent, a couple from the shop floor may have been kept on over there but I don't know for sure. Over a hundred British jobs, just gone. The Remainers have lied saying the E.U. protects British jobs, the E.U. has been asset stripping the UK and chucking British jobs on the scrapheap for years.If EA were to do a major event, not mini's put together, I mean a proper major event with land tokens and crafting and everything about Brexit across all four Acts, perhaps then they may realise just how much damage they have done. Ok, rant over and I am well and truly done, my eyes are stinging.

I really haven't followed American politics to be honest, I was just basing my opinion on what we get reported on our new that seemed very similar to what was happening over here, whatever one side proposed the other side blocks so nothing seems to be getting done or any progress is made.

Too busy serving themselves rather than the people, and when they say they are serving the people, they mean the minority that lost and seeing as we DO NOT have proportional representation it makes their actions strictly speaking illegal, which just so happens to be the same beliefs as theirs, so it gives them the right to foul up the country by treating the people, democracy and freedom of speech like something they scrape off the sole of their shoe.

Who or what are the EOC, There is the EEC, which is European Economic Community, and EEA, which is European Economic Area.
I'm guessing it was a typo or auto-correction which is no big deal, but if, and this is a big IF, they have referred to it as EOC, I hate to say it, but I think they have swallowed Remainer lies, I am not aware of an E.U. anything called EOC.

The problem i see with Brexit, based on the info i see from this side of the Atlantic, is that the system has flaws, so you're abandoning the system rather than addressing the flaws, thus discarding all benefits of the union.

It's much like scrapping the bus because the driver is drunk, rather than just hiring a better driver.

The destruction of the EU, and brexit leading to destruction of the UK, along with destruction of NATO, plays right into Putin's agenda of destroying Western style democracy. So anyone fostering this agenda is a useful idiot if not total traitor. The actions speak for themselves.

This gravy train can not be altered, changed, modified or anything, it is corrupt to it's core, the flaws are there to allow it's people to misappropriate even steal so they can fill their pockets with someone else's money. Laws are created by un-elected bureaucrats and the MEP's are given too short a time to effectively debate them so some will always get through that shouldn't.

The Free Movement doctrine that says any EU citizen should be able to move across the area unchecked has killed and will kill more British people and other nationalities in Britain, the country is taking some of the unsavories from other countries and we are not allowed to remove anywhere near enough of them.
Murderers, rapists, burglars, thiefs, paedophiles, drug dealers, and more, they are here and we cannot stop them all, we are not to.
The majority of EU citizens are law abiding but there is a minority that are not, and Free Movement does not allow us to discriminate between lawful and lawless, but there is no modifying FM, it cannot be altered or changed, its mantra and indoctrination is fixed in the EU like set in concrete.

To change Free Movement would need the approval of the other 27 states as well, where some of the lawless come from, there is no fixing this flaw, it cannot be repaired, it is not the driver of this bus it is the road this bus is on, after 70 years of peace one idea of a superstate has been replaced with another where objectors are ignored, crushed and pushed aside, they have learned that fear only works so far, money goes further, and they still get their gold at the end of it.

The EU doesn't really like NATO that much because the USA is in it, the EU has its own flag, anthem and government (so to speak in the broadest sense), it also wants its own armed forces, which it would take from its members, soldiers, tanks, ships, planes and so on and money from its members to pay for it as well. Countries will not want to pay for both and EU Army would be mandatory. The EU distrusts the USA, by having their own Army it would not include the USA, it would be their thing and no one else's.
As a result, NATO would be considered surplus in parts of Europe, by leaving, our membership of NATO is assured, guaranteed even.

I am sure US politicians have taken backhanders and been on the take for years the same as ours have and there have been the resultant scandals when uncovered in Westminster.
The hiring of family members, the expenses scandal, including, the cleaning of an MP's castle's moat, (true story), the building of a duckhouse, the buying and furnishing of a second home and more.

Do you think EU politicians are so pious and benevolent that they are bereft of greed or gluttony for starters.

In the UK, (like other countries), companies and charities have to be regularly audited:
to avoid bodies operating beyond their means and losing money;
to prevent someone stealing or embezzling from funds;
to prevent criminals using legitimate accounts to move their money unnoticed;
to prevent the funding of terrorism.

And yet the EU's own auditor's have refused to sign off their accounts for 20 years, it might even be 21 or 22 years by now, that is more than the UK's current national debt which is about £1.5 Trillion.
Just as the EU has grown and enveloped more countries and asked those countries to pay more and more into it, it has also lost, misappropriated or just disappeared more and more of people's money.
The EU also passed directives giving its auditor's even less time to inspect its own books.
If this was Westminster, we wouldn't have a Westminster now, but, because it's the EU it is just accepted and ignored.

There is no changing the EU from the inside, there are too many that are too powerful that this can never be allowed to happen.
The only option was to leave.
