Elf spawn

I only generate 6 elves per hour so less than 20 elves per cannon cooldown. With these numbers it is impossible to fire full cannons (with the exception for the first log in of the day where I can get about 40 elves)....

Anyone know how to overcome this?

We're all in the same boat.
If you look at the first post in this, you get 6 Elves/hr. That's it. The only thing that generates extra Elves is the Elf Tunnel (4 Elves per 8hrs).

Unfortunately, unless EA change the spawn rate, it'll continue being that way.
