I did some math in the too many elves thread and came to the conclusion the elf spawn rate is just right. Max elves possible 6 x 24 = 144 (from spawns) and 4 x 3 = 12 (from tunnel). This works out to be exactly 4 sets of 3 shots at 39 elves per set.
