Even the Smallest Fish get Gils

I feel like if I'm being punished for buying all these premium buildings long ago by not being able to see the storylines between Gil and Homer. Kind of a bit unfair if you ask me.

Maybe I'm wrong for saying this, but maybe us long time players and "supporters" should get something for this. I mean, whats the point in paying for these items as they're released, when we can just wait months & wait for Gil to spring up a deal and give us these buildings for a lot less than we originally paid for. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful, because I'm really not. But an added bonus or something exclusive would be nice.

Heck, I'd settle with them giving me Gil as a regular character for my town.

    I agree.

I do not begrudge the sales (not to say you do), but I do agree that it really stinks that we do not get to see Gil at all just because we were suckers and bought right away. It would be nice to get something, but of course if they did that then there would be holy hell about that from those that did not have it, though I guess there are quite often exclusive deals, so to add to this run on sentence, yes, that seems fair too.
  • I'm OK with it. It's not an unusual marketing pattern to see something priced higher on release and then come down. You pay more to get something sooner/have it longer/own it while it's shiny and new. Especially plausible with something like the Volcano Lair, which starts producing payouts for you as soon as you purchase it. When sales start to soften, the merchant discounts the item to see who else might buy it at a lower price.

Agreed it would be cool to get some sort of reward for being a long-time player. I guess you could say that the longer you've been around, the more giveaways and/or limited time items you've had a chance to accumulate.

I could not stand the flying saucer flying around during the Christmas game, so I won't be taking advantage of this. While I would like the Springfield sign, I definitely don't want that ray gun so not tempted at all.

You aren't really missing anything if you bought the stuff. A couple lines of text that somebody can tell you about. It's not a storyline, really. Just an ad.

At least they ain't give you the update than take it back. Indian given a** n****s
