Thanks @Muhsterino, but I can't take credit for that one, as it was something I learned off the forum a few events ago, I sussed the clumping together of venues straight away though as it was something I did in an event last year so it would be easier for me to click buildings and assign various tasks for different event currencies...
Make more room for it though as other venues will be added (Simpson's house is next)... although if you've only got five performers like me, it does seem a little pointless at the moment...
Don't forget (as @docmorrissey mentioned earlier) you can rush the jam sessions for free once you get to 24mins or less to go... this doesn't work with the Weird Al tasks though...

Just while I'm thinking about Weird Al tasks, everybody could do well to remember to stagger the coin collectors in order to maximise returns...
E.g. I've got 96/100 for the first quest part, so have sent Skinner to earn 4 coins and then waited ten minutes to send the other five on tasks so that when Skinner finishes, he can trigger the next quest and then I'll get a 20 coin boost
